Dr. Cathy Mputhia is an advocate of 20 years experience in the legal practice. She has been described by clients as “trustworthy, warm, approachable and bubbly. Over the years she has developed and branded herself as a trustworthy and loyal lawyer. She prioritizes client care and excellence for she believes in providing innovative and business driven solutions to clients. Cathy’s mentor once told her that she has been blessed with a very wide skill set which she has over the years strived to maximise on. She holds dual qualifications in law and business.

Cathy’s specializations include corporate governance, intellectual property, environment, data protection and consultancies. For the last 3 years Cathy has been involved in corporate governance consultancies for global entities seeking to set up in Kenya. She has also led several corporate governance briefs and trainings in the agricultural sector particularly the tea sector. More recently she has developed a niche in consulting for family owned businesses in family and business governance. Such is her passion for family owned businesses that she and a group of experts publish the Family & Business Magazine for family owned businesses. What’s more, she is undertaking a long distance doctorate research with the University of Gloucestershire on family owned businesses. Her desire and passion is to see Kenyan family owned businesses thrive for generations. She has helped a number of them set up family governance structures that are crucial for posterity.
Cathy is developing a niche in the beauty sector having previously worked in the beauty sector as a consultant for various global beauty manufacturer who sought to register their business in Kenya. Other than incorporation, she consulted in brand protection through trademarks, enforcement of intellectual property rights against counterfeits and helped one client negotiate a settlement agreement in an infringement suit.
KIPKORIR DAVIS TOO
Associate Advocate.
Davis Too is a diligent and versatile advocate who brings a comprehensive range of legal skills to the table. Davis holds a Bachelor Degree in Law (LL.B) (Honours) from Moi University. He also holds Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law and was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2023.
With a solid foundation in general practice of law, he exhibits proficiency across various legal domains, making him a well-rounded professional. He has routinely represented individual and corporate clients and has developed expertise in handling litigation/ dispute resolution, general corporate and commercial law conveyancing and Intellectual Property Law.
He demonstrates a deep understanding of the complexities of the law and its application in diverse contexts. Whether it’s providing counsel on commercial matters, or conveyancing, he approaches each case with a strategic mindset and a dedication to achieving favorable outcomes for his clients. He has been involved in a series of connected transactions for a foreign investor seeking to set up operations in Kenya in which he was tasked with advising the client on the most viable structure for the transaction, undertaking the incorporation of the appropriate investment vehicle and facilitate the transfer of properties to the new entity.
With a focus on building trust and maintaining strong client relationships, Davis goes above and beyond to safeguard the best interests of those he represents, earning him a reputation for reliability and client satisfaction.
FAITH WANJIRU (“Fayo/Shiro”)

Faith is a very good-hearted, humble yet vocal and confident advocate who was recently admitted to the Roll of Advocates in November 2025. She was able to achieve this remarkable feat after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Law and successfully completing the Kenya School of Law Advocates Training Programme.
She has extensive knowledge which she amassed as she was undertaking her post-graduate diploma in Advocate Training Programme, as well as her pupilage and internship at J.K. Kibicho & Company Advocates. Faith has also worked as an intern at Vivienne & Partners Advocates where she was able to extend her experience portfolio.
Reading about major historical events is her go-to hobby, as she likes learning new facts and having new experiences; be it meeting new people, being in new environments and doing new things. Other than that she’s a graceful swimmer and a singer with strong vocals. When her social battery is low you’ll catch her taking solo nature walks or wrapped in cozy blankets watching her favourite TV series.

Currently enhancing his expertise in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Erick brings a blend of innovation and meticulous attention to detail to his practice.

TRACEY LUNG'AHI
Head of Admin & I.T.
Tracey is the office administrator of the firm. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration (Finance Major). She is reliable and organized with the ability to successfully handle fast paced assignments.
In the realm of administration, Tracey excels in devising and implementing strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness and foster a client-centric environment. Her leadership is instrumental in driving operational excellence and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.
Beyond her professional prowess, Tracey has a passion for programming and has managed to complete a short course on it. This among other various interests makes her not only a valuable asset to the organization but also a well-rounded individual.
JESSE JUNIOR (“CJ”)
I.T. Officer
Jesse is a very methodical and analytical I.T. expert. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Informatics and Computer Science from Strathmore University, and he is also progressing to be a certified professional cloud solutions architect under Amazon Web Services (AWS).
He is primarily a software developer, working under different startups and tech companies to develop and maintain desktop, mobile and web applications to offer solutions to various societal and organizational needs. His academic background compounded with his previous work experience greatly contributes to his technical prowess and understanding. He is an A.I. and data enthusiast, with a deep conviction that data is the new gold. Media production is also part of his game, with a keen interest in video and sound production.
Jesse’s first love is football, and he captains the football team of his local church, playing the striker position as a number 9. He spends a lot of time playing and watching football games of his favorite team (Read Madrid).
AMOS SHIHUNDU (“General”)
Associate Advocate
Amos is a very friendly and charismatic advocate with over 4 years’ hands-on experience of practice in the legal sector. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. His exceptional people skills make it easy for him to relate with anyone he meets across his paths, as he is often friendly and jovial.
He was the best student in trial advocacy and tax law, at undergraduate level and the second-best student in trial advocacy at the advocates training program. He is generally proactive, which greatly contributed to his appointment as the youngest co-opted board member of the Kenya Forest Working Group, where he serves as a volunteer.
He is an avid hockey player, most of his free time is spent playing hockey with his teammates. He also shows keen interest in cryptanalysis as he takes time to learn and understand the changes in technology relating to cryptocurrency. To exercise his mind and to challenge his mindset, he reads books, articles and newspapers. The general loves history, collecting rare coins and art, consistency, analytical thinking and is a firm believer of the cross.
SHADRACK SIFA (“Sire/Genius”)

Shadrack is the embodiment of the “genius” stereotype, with a silent but confident demeanor and a pair of glasses on his face. True to this, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management, and is a certified Investments and Financial Analyst (at the foundation level). He is humble and self-motivated, who esteems professionalism and values integrity.
He has worked in the HR department of the Kenya Public Service Commission as an Intern and has worked as a Direct Sales Representative for National Bank. He has successfully and accurately handled the department’s payroll-third party section.
He has impressive practical problem-solving skills, very efficient in communication and is an adaptive leader. He has a special liking for music, as he spends a lot of time playing the piano, bass and drums. He also plays football and is a staunch gamer. He also goes on adventurous bike rides from time to time.
MAURICE ONYANGO
Legal Assistant
Mourice Onyango, a human rights lawyer, holds an LLB degree from the University of Nairobi. He currently pursues an LLM at the University of Pretoria and awaits admission to the bar, having completed his Advocates Training Programme at the Kenya School of Law.
His priority areas include gender law, constitutional law, international human rights law, children’s law, public interest litigation, and human rights advocacy. He currently serves as the Youth Coordinator for Haki Nawiri Afrika, where he leads programmes on the right to food, protection of indigenous communities and their land rights, climate justice, gender justice, and youth engagement.
Mourice enjoys writing, firmly believing that knowledge empowers. His publications include articles on his LinkedIn profile, an article co-authored with Dr. Cathy Mputhia for the International Lawyers Network on Kenya’s corporate landscape, and a piece in Haki Nawiri’s Human Rights in a Pandemic Chronicles. Beyond legal work, Mourice cycles and takes nature walks, finding they offer fresh perspectives on life.
ANTHONY MATHENGE (“Alkaline”)

Anthony is a detail-oriented, organized and dedicated paralegal officer with a strong foundation & experience in Legal Research, revising legal documents, and filing (both e-filing and manual). With a Diploma Degree in Legal Studies and over 4 years’ experience as a paralegal officer, Anthony brings about a calm and collected approach to his work which promotes reliability, efficiency and competence to the team.
He was heavily linked to the success of his previous team by ensuring timely filing of documents to courts, reduced case preparation by at least 30% in implementing a streamlined digital filing system and retrieval of documents. He has also been involved in project management, by coordinating multiple phase projects such as document reviews and compliance checks within the required time.
Anthony is very vocal about travelling and culture, it doesn’t take long for him to learn the local dialect of a people in a place he visits. He holds strong communal values and inter-personal skills that enable him to easily interact and blend with people. He pays close attention to the food he consumes, as he is very mindful and intentional about his physical health.

Maureen is a soft-spoken, diligent and creative professional who loves learning new things. She holds a Diploma in Institutional Catering and Accommodation Management. She is a very good team player, which is attributed to her diligence in playing her part and her effectiveness in communication.
She has practical experience working with a top cleaning company, which specializes in cleaning office spaces and homes. This has helped her become immaculate at time management, which was polished during her time at a leading hotel in Kenya.
She is passionate about art, and likes expressing herself rather artistically also through writing. Besides writing, she also likes showcasing her exquisite cooking skills and spends a lot of time reading books. When she is in her element, you’ll find her hiking with a group of friends, as she places high value on intimate and deep friendships. On other occasions, you’ll find her singing alone, dancing or painting with friends on picnics.

ELISHA OKOTH (“Elly”)
Personal Administrator
Elisha is a self-driven, disciplined lad whose main goal is diligence and competence. Being diligent and competent is not something he tries to do, its part of who he is and who he has become. This can be attributed to his unwavering discipline, since he always gets the job done without excuses.
True to this, he worked as a security controller in Brinks Security Company and at the same time worked as an assistant at Milimani Children’s Court. Once his contract term concluded, his senior was quick to renew the contract for an additional year because of Elisha’s reliability, utility and integrity. He has also worked as an office attendant, as his straightforward yet warm demeanour was very appealing to the customers.
At school, he was elected as delegate to represent the Department of Governance and Legal Studies at the Technical University of Kenya, where he also served as the class representative from his first year to the final year.
His inquisitive nature prompts him to utilize all his free time doing research on urban development, property law, real estate, and generally building & construction. After work, he removes his office clothes and probably wears his construction overall crowned with a fairly hardy helmet, to give dues to his inner structural engineer.
